Anastasiia Golovina is a Ukrainian lyric soprano. Growing up in the musicians’ family Anastasiia was surrounded by music from a very young age. After finishing Music School and Music College in her hometown in Ukraine, Anastasiia came to London to continue her musical development at Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Marilyn Rees, from where she graduated in 2017.
During her studies at the GSMD Anastasiia had the privilege to work with a number of great artists, such as Sir Simon Rattle, Dominic Wheeler, John Ramster, Dinah Stabb, Sarah Walker, Lada Valesova, Victoria Newlyn, Linnhe Robertson, Armin Zanner, Amanda Roocroft, Emmanuele Moris and Rudolf Piernay.
Anastasiia performed across the UK, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Russia, Thailand, Singapore and Netherlands, including her recent debut performance at Wigmore Hall.
Her operatic repertoire includes roles of Bastienne (Basien und Bastienne by Mozart), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas by Purcell) as well as arias by Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Rimsky-Korsakov, Handel, Massenet and Offenbach. Anastasiia’s oratorio repertoire includes Messiah (Handel), Gloria (Vivaldi), Salve Regina (Pergolesi), Carmina Burana (Orff) and B minor Mass (Bach).
Despite performing regularly as an operatic and oratorio soloist, Anastasiia has been performing in various song recitals; her repertoire includes composers such as Schubert, Dvorak, Wolf, Rachmaninov, Faure, Debussy, Previn, Quilter and Mozart.
